The inside lining of the bag - the South Atlantic Ocean of Cape Town

The inside lining of the bag - the South Atlantic Ocean of Cape Town

The lining inside the bag is a printed water surface, which is a depiction of the South Atlantic Ocean just off the shores of Cape Town.

The print is made by zambon & stahl textile designers, who also designed the Cape Town Foulard collection in 2015.

Pre-order your backpack and the production can start. The ordering begins this Saturday and will last for the next 30 days only.

BADI CULTURE x ZAMBON & STAHL

The collaboration was meant to be. Since about April BADI CULTURE has been working with ZAMBON & STAHL on a stunning collection. The foulards are on their way from Como to Luzern and the shoot was done last tuesday. A big thanks to the models Miriam und Dominik, as well as Emanuela and Cornelia for their styling. Here is a quick look into the behind the scenes.

New Collection - Cotton Collection, first Series

Seit Januar 2015, ist die Kollektion "Cotton Collection" in Planung. Ende April war ich in Kapstadt um die Produktion zu starten. 

Die Idee hinter dieser Kollektion war, Taschen aus Südafrikanischer Baumwoll-Canvas herzustellen. Es ist ein super Material für Taschen und es passt gut zu unserem Konzept: "Keep it Local" - das Material und die Produktion, so gut wie möglich, lokal zu behalten, in diesem Fall, Südafrikanisch.

Das Baumwoll-Canvas kommt aus der KwaZulu Natal Region im Norden Südafrikas.

Die erste Serie der "Cotton Collection" wird bald erhältlich sein.

Since January 2015, the new collection "Cotton Collection" is being planned. At the end of April I went to Cape Town to get the production started.

The idea behind this collection is to use South African cotton canvas. It is a beautiful material to work with and it correlates well with our concept: "Keep it local" - to keep things as local as possible, in this case South African.

The cotton canvas comes from the KwaZulu Natal Region, north of South Africa.

The first series of the "Cotton Collection" will be ready soon.
